Job Description

We are seeking a Teaching Assistant to support students in a dynamic learning environment. This role involves aiding teachers in instructional activities, managing student behaviour, and promoting a positive atmosphere for academic success.

Responsibilities

• Manage the study hall area, ensuring a conducive learning environment.
• Provide academic support and assistance to students across various subjects.
• Monitor student behaviour and enforce study hall regulations.
• Organise study groups and tutoring sessions as needed.
• Keep detailed records of student attendance and performance.
• Work closely with teachers to identify student needs and strategies.
• Support teachers in the preparation of materials for lessons.
• Ensure all resources are well-maintained and available for students.
• Deliver feedback to teachers on student progress and engagement.
• Contribute to the development of study hall policies and procedures.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Relevant qualifications in education are desirable

Experience

• Prior experience in an educational environment is preferred
