Van Delivery Driver

Job Description

We are looking for a Van Delivery Driver responsible for transporting goods and packages safely and efficiently. The driver will ensure timely deliveries and maintain a high standard of customer service while on the road.

Responsibilities

• Deliver packages promptly and efficiently to customers within assigned areas.
• Maintain a clean and organized delivery van.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize delivery routes.
• Provide excellent customer service and address customer queries professionally.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping of delivered packages and obtain necessary signatures.
• Report any issues or incidents to the Delivery Manager promptly.
• Follow safety guidelines while operating the van.
• Assist with minor vehicle maintenance tasks as necessary.
• Use GPS and mobile devices to track and update delivery status.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Prior experience as a delivery driver preferred.

Technical Skills

• Clean driving record
• Basic vehicle maintenance

Languages
