Job Description

We are in search of a highly skilled Seed Mill Superintendent to supervise the operations of our seed mill. The successful candidate will manage all aspects of seed processing, ensuring quality output and optimizing operational efficiency. Your expertise will lead our team in achieving our production goals while maintaining adherence to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise seed processing operations, ensuring quality and output consistency.
  • Develop production schedules and monitor workflow to meet deadlines.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations for team members.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Ensure all health and safety regulations are strictly adhered to.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiencies.
  • Manage budgets and control costs associated with seed milling operations.
  • Prepare reports on production performance and resource utilisation.
  • Foster a positive work environment and encourage team development.
  • Build relationships with external partners and stakeholders.

Requirements

Education
  • Degree related to Agriculture or Food Science
  • Master's degree is an advantage

  • Proven experience in seed mill operations, focusing on quality and process improvement
