Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Agricultural Planner to join our dynamic team in Clacton-on-Sea. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing sustainable land-use strategies, collaborating with farmers, and advising on crop selection and resource management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead planning initiatives for agricultural development.
  • Evaluate the impact of farming practices on the environment.
  • Collaborate with governmental bodies for compliance and support.
  • Utilise GIS tools for land assessment and mapping.
  • Engage with community stakeholders to foster collaboration.
  • Prepare funding proposals for agricultural projects.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Science or related discipline
  • Master's degree is an advantage
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in agricultural consulting or environmental planning
