Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Rabbit Fancier to join the team. As our Rabbit Fancier, you will be responsible for the well-being of our rabbits and managing their breeding programs, in addition to participating in shows.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the rabbitry including care and breeding.
• Conduct health checks and administer veterinary care when necessary.
• Create and maintain breeding schedules and documentation.
• Engage with the community by participating in shows and educational events.
• Build relationships with potential buyers and collectors.
• Maintain a clean and organised environment for rabbit care.
• Collaborate with fellow staff on rabbit welfare and care initiatives.
• Implement new animal care techniques as needed.

• Familiarity with show standards: Understanding of competitive standards for various rabbit breeds.
