Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Fruit Buyer to join our expanding team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing top-quality fruits from local and international suppliers, negotiating prices, and ensuring timely deliveries, all while focusing on sustainability and quality.

Responsibilities

• Identify and establish relationships with new suppliers.
• Track seasonal fruit availability and advise on product sourcing.
• Implement procurement strategies to optimise costs and quality.
• Develop and maintain accurate reporting on purchasing trends.
• Collaborate with marketing to promote seasonal fruit offerings.
• Oversee supplier audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Drive supplier negotiations to achieve competitive advantage.
• Train and mentor junior team members in procurement best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Agriculture
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in fruit buying or procurement.
