Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Elephant Tamer who will be responsible for training, caring, and managing elephants in our organization. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of elephant behavior, possess exceptional communication skills, and ensure the well-being and safety of both the elephants and our staff.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage training programmes tailored to individual elephants' needs.
  • Conduct educational presentations for visitors about elephant care and conservation.
  • Work closely with veterinarians to monitor the health of the elephants.
  • Enrich the elephants' living environment for better quality of life.
  • Participate in research and conservation initiatives related to elephants.
  • Maintain detailed records of training sessions and health assessments.

Requirements

Education
  • Relevant certification in Animal Behavior or similar
Experience
  • Proven track record of successful elephant training
Technical Skills
  • Behavioural observation

Certifications
  • Animal Care Training Certificate
Languages
  • English: Fluent
