We are seeking a dedicated Cybersecurity Specialist to join our vibrant team in Edinburgh. The ideal candidate will have experience in safeguarding networks, systems, and sensitive information from potential cyber threats. You will play a vital role in implementing security measures and responding to incidents to ensure the safety of our digital assets.

Responsibilities

• Analyse security alerts and produce reports.
• Coordinate with external partners for incident responses.
• Develop and implement security policies and procedures.
• Manage security projects to improve the organisation's cybersecurity capabilities.
• Participate in security training and awareness sessions.
• Evaluate security technologies and recommend solutions.
• Facilitate regular security awareness campaigns.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or Information Technology
• Master's degree in Cybersecurity is preferable

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in information security or a related field

• Firewalls and VPNs
