Job Description

We are seeking a data-driven and detail-oriented Data Engineer to join our Birmingham team. The successful applicant will play a critical role in managing and optimising data flows while developing robust data pipelines. Your expertise in data warehousing and ETL processes will be essential for transforming complex data sets into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Create data models to support analytics and improve data accessibility.
• Automate data ingestion processes from multiple sources.
• Collaborate with IT to ensure infrastructure meets the demands of data processing.
• Support data governance efforts to ensure data integrity and security.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science or equivalent
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in data engineering roles

• Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer
