Job Description

We are seeking an IT Support Technician to join our Glasgow team. This role involves providing technical support to clients, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology and a strong customer service ethic.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all IT systems are operational and provide optimum performance.
  • Perform routine check-ups on system performance and implement necessary changes.
  • Facilitate training sessions for employees on new technologies.
  • Provide insights for potential future IT needs and improvements.
  • Liaise with third-party service providers for hardware and software support.
  • Keep the IT documentation up to date.
  • Participate in IT projects and contribute to successful implementations.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
  • Additional certifications (Cisco, Microsoft) are advantageous
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in technical support
