Job Description

As a Molding, Coremaking, and Casting Machine Setter, you will play a crucial role in producing high-quality cast iron products. Your responsibilities will include preparing sand molds, melting iron, and ensuring production processes are adhered to for optimal quality output.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test audiovisual equipment to ensure proper functionality.
• Coordinate with clients for installation and maintenance schedules.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency within the audiovisual systems.
• Support the Facilities Manager in project planning and execution.
• Keep abreast of new technologies and best practices in audiovisual systems.
• Assist in developing maintenance schedules and logs.
• Respond to emergencies as needed for urgent repairs.
• Participate in regular team meetings to share insights and updates.
• Foster a positive working environment and contribute to team goals.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in audiovisual technology or related field preferred
• Relevant trade qualifications (e.g. electrical, plumbing)

Experience

• 2-3 years of hands-on experience in a similar role

Technical Skills

• Proficient with audiovisual equipment like projectors, speakers, and displays
• Basic knowledge of network configurations for audiovisual systems

Soft Skills

• Organisational skills
• Adaptability

Certifications

• First Aid Certification
• CPR Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with CAD software: Used for layout planning and technical drawing.
• Experience with event setups: Knowledge of managing audiovisual setups for events and conferences.
