Job Description

We are searching for an Automotive Technician to join our thriving team in Dumfries. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicles, ensuring customer satisfaction through quality work and reliable service.

Responsibilities

• Undertake vehicle servicing and repairs in line with manufacturer guidelines.
• Identify faults using diagnostic equipment.
• Keep detailed records of work carried out and parts used.
• Assist in the training of new technicians.
• Stay updated on automotive technology advancements.

Requirements

Education

• NVQ Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Repair or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering is a plus.

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a workshop environment

Certifications

• IMI Level 3 Diploma in Vehicle Maintenance
• ACS (Accredited Certification Scheme)
