We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our accounting team in Leeds. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
Maintain ledgers and prepare detailed accounts.
Reconcile discrepancies in financial reports with relevant documents.
Assist in preparing annual financial reports for stakeholders.
Manage and respond to client inquiries regarding financial statements.
Coordinate with external auditors to ensure compliance.
Train and manage junior bookkeeping staff.
Identify areas for improving financial processes.
Support the Finance Manager with strategic financial planning.
Requirements
Education
Relevant bookkeeping qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field is advantageous
