We are on the lookout for a talented Game Programmer to join our dynamic team in Lancaster. In this role, you'll be working closely with designers and artists to craft engaging gameplay experiences. You should have a robust understanding of industry-standard programming languages and a passion for gaming.

Responsibilities

• Prototype and iterate on new gameplay features based on team discussions.
• Enhance player experiences through innovative coding techniques.
• Communicate effectively with team members from various disciplines.
• Assist in the development of tools to streamline the game development process.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Postgraduate study in Game Development is a bonus

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in professional game development

Technical Skills

• Unreal Engine
• Shader Programming

• Analytical Skills
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Unity Certified Associate
• Professional Agile Coach (PAC)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Game Testing Experience: Experience in game testing processes and methodologies.
• Knowledge of monetization strategies: Understanding of different monetization strategies used in games.
