Job Description

We are on the lookout for an experienced Convention Services Manager to oversee all aspects of our convention services. You will ensure that our clients' needs are met and expectations exceeded while maintaining high levels of service and showcasing outstanding event planning skills.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the planning and execution of all logistics related to events and conventions.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring all queries are managed promptly.
  • Evaluate completed events and provide recommendations for improvements.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Implement event planning software and project management tools to enhance efficiency.
  • Lead regular team meetings to review project progress and address challenges.
  • Mentor and develop junior coordinators within the team.
  • Identify emerging trends in the event industry to stay ahead of competitors.
  • Oversee quality control for all event materials and setups.
  • Assist with marketing initiatives to promote upcoming events.

Requirements

Education
  • Higher National Diploma (HND) in Events Management or related field
Experience
  • 3-5 years of managing large-scale events
