Job Description

As a Spikemaking Supervisor, you will oversee the production process of railway spikes in our manufacturing facility. Your role will involve managing a dedicated team, ensuring that production targets are met while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate the spikemaking team to achieve production objectives.
  • Maintain quality assurance by conducting regular inspections of the production process.
  • Develop and implement training programs for new hires and existing staff.
  • Collaborate with engineering for process enhancements.
  • Utilize data analysis to optimize production efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Participate in daily production meetings to address challenges and plan for upcoming tasks.
  • Ensure equipment maintenance and safety checks are conducted regularly.
  • Foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Document and report production metrics to management.
  • Assist in budgeting and resource planning for the spikemaking department.

Requirements

Education
  • Supervisory or management training
Experience
  • Proven supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.

Languages
  • English: Fluent
