Job Description
As a skilled Measurer, you will play a critical role in our projects by accurately measuring and documenting vital dimensions and quantities. Your keen attention to detail will contribute to effective project planning and cost estimation.
Responsibilities
Perform thorough measurements on site and in the office.
Create and present detailed measurement reports to stakeholders.
Assist the project management team with accurate cost estimations.
Ensure all measurement tools are maintained and updated regularly.
Provide recommendations to improve measurement accuracy and efficiency.
Collaborate with architects and engineers to ensure measurement feasibility.
Train junior staff on best measurement practices and standards.
Implement and update processes as per industry regulations.
Monitor measurement documentation for quality assurance.
Evaluate and analyse potential measurement risks to enhance project delivery.
Requirements
Education
Relevant degree in Construction Management or Quantity Surveying
Professional membership is advantageous
Experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience in measurement or similar roles within the construction industry.
