Job Description

Join our team as a Tile and Stone Setter where you will apply your skills in installing and maintaining flooring and wall coverings. Your attention to detail and knowledge of materials will contribute to creating stunning spaces.

Responsibilities

• Lay out tile or stone installations, ensuring patterns and designs are properly adhered to.
• Conduct site assessments to determine the best installation approach.
• Test the surface condition for suitability before installation.
• Adhere to project timelines and deliver high-quality workmanship.
• Train and supervise junior installers and apprentices.
• Report any issues or concerns to the Project Manager promptly.
• Maintain tools and equipment to ensure longevity and effectiveness.

Requirements

Education

• Apprenticeship in flooring or construction-related field

Experience

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in a similar role.

Technical Skills

• Repair and Maintenance Skills
• Knowledge of Materials

Soft Skills

Certifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Floor Coverings
• First Aid at Work Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
