Job Description

As a Structural Iron and Steel Worker, you will be crucial in constructing and assembling steel frames and components according to detailed blueprints and specifications. This role requires precision, physical stamina, and a strong understanding of steel fabrication processes.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately to ensure correct installation of steel frameworks.
  • Utilize hand and power tools for measuring and shaping steel components.
  • Weld connections and ensure precise assembly of steel structures.
  • Perform thorough quality assessments throughout the construction process.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to guarantee workplace safety.
  • Coordinate with site managers to adhere to project timelines and objectives.

Requirements

Education
  • Certification in welding (e.g., AWS Certified Welder)
Experience
  • Experience working on large-scale construction projects preferred
Technical Skills
  • Experience with using various hand and power tools
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations in construction
Soft Skills
  • Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Certifications
