Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Excavating and Loading Machine Operator to join our construction team in London. The successful candidate will operate heavy machinery for earth moving projects, ensuring all tasks are completed safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections on machinery before and after use.
• Ensure machinery is operated safely at all times.
• Support other team members in completing site tasks.
• Keep up-to-date with industry best practices related to machinery operation.

Requirements

Education

• NVQ Level 3 in Plant Operations

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in operating excavators and related equipment.

Technical Skills

• Operational Safety
• Hydraulic Systems Knowledge

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Time Management

Certifications

• IOSH Managing Safely
• First Aid at Work Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in the Oil and Gas sector: Experience operating heavy machinery in oil and gas projects is advantageous.
• Additional certifications in heavy machinery operation: Any extra certifications will be beneficial.
