Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Stone Repairer to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will assess, repair, and restore a range of stone structures, ensuring their historical and aesthetic integrity.
Responsibilities
Assess and document the condition of stone features.
Execute precise repairs on various stone types.
Utilize both traditional and modern stoneworking methods.
Engage with clients to discuss restoration needs and options.
Conduct routine maintenance on tools and equipment.
Adhere to health and safety guidelines during all operations.
Assist in training new team members in stone repair techniques.
Participate in project planning meetings.
Evaluate the effectiveness of completed repairs.
Provide recommendations for future conservation efforts.
Requirements
Education
Relevant qualification in construction or heritage conservation
Experience
5+ years of experience in stone repair or restoration.
