Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our Cardiff team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing and managing civil engineering projects, ensuring they meet both client expectations and regulatory standards. This position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, from infrastructure to residential developments.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the engineering aspects of construction projects, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard.
  • Conduct site surveys and prepare reports on structural integrity.
  • Utilize software tools to create and modify project designs.
  • Prepare project budgets and monitor expenses to maintain cost control.
  • Mentor and train junior engineers and interns.
  • Consult with external specialists, as necessary, to enhance project outcomes.
  • Review and approve contractor bids and proposals.
  • Ensure projects comply with legal and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Master's in Structural Engineering is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in civil engineering job roles

  • AutoCAD

Certifications
  • LEED Accreditation
