Job Description

As a Middle School Mathematics Teacher, you will play a key role in educating and inspiring students through engaging maths lessons. You will be responsible for developing lesson plans, assessing student progress, and creating a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive mathematics instruction to diverse learners.
• Design lesson plans that promote thinking, problem-solving, and real-world applications.
• Use various assessments to monitor student understanding and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Engage students in collaborative and independent learning activities.
• Foster a growth mindset by encouraging perseverance and resilience in students.
• Maintain classroom discipline, ensuring a respectful and productive learning environment.
• Collaborate with other subject teachers on cross-curricular initiatives.
• Attend and contribute to parent-teacher conferences and school committees.
• Stay up to date with recent educational trends and practices in mathematics.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Education with a Mathematics focus
• Master's degree in Mathematics Education (preferred)

Experience

• Experience in implementing differentiated instruction is an advantage.
