Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Library Program Coordinator to manage and develop educational programs within our Guildford location. You will collaborate with local schools and community groups to enhance literacy and learning opportunities for children and adults alike.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the development of curriculum-based resources for educators and parents.
  • Organize and conduct formal and informal training sessions to promote literacy within the community.
  • Engage with participants to gather feedback and measure program success.
  • Maintain a library of resources for staff to use when delivering educational sessions.
  • Conduct outreach activities to bring in new participants from underserved populations.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to effectively advertise events and programs.
  • Support the ongoing development and training of library personnel in educational methodologies.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Library Science, or Social Work
  • Relevant certifications in program development or community education are an asset
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in educational programming or library services with a focus on community engagement
