Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Plant Controls Specialist to join our team. This role involves designing, maintaining, and troubleshooting control systems to ensure optimal plant operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive technical expertise in industrial automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of advanced control systems
• Work closely with maintenance teams to enhance system reliability
• Utilize SCADA systems for effective monitoring and control
• Participate in project management for system upgrades
• Conduct training sessions for users on system functionalities
• Conduct thorough troubleshooting and root cause analysis
• Document all control system changes and upgrades

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Control Engineering or similar

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in control systems engineering

Technical Skills

• Electrical design software
• Lean Manufacturing principles

Soft Skills

• Analytical skills

Certifications

• HMI and SCADA Advanced Training

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Project management skills: Ability to manage projects from conception through to implementation.
