Job Description

As a Hardware Rework Specialist at ABC Electronics, you will focus on repairing, modifying, and reworking electronic circuit boards and assemblies. Your skill in identifying defects and ensuring quality standards will be vital in helping us deliver top-notch products.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware issues in electronic devices.
• Perform preventive maintenance on electronic assemblies.
• Simulate and test functionality of repaired units.
• Contribute to the development of training programs for new technicians.
• Assist in the design of new processes aimed at increasing efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Associate degree or equivalent in electronics or a related field
• Certification in electronics assembly and/or repair is desirable

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in electronics repair, assembly, or rework

Technical Skills

• Excellent soldering skills
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of electronic testing equipment

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Teamwork
• Communication skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in the aerospace or defence industry: Familiarity with industry standards and practices.
• Knowledge of CAD software for design: Ability to use CAD tools for circuit board design.
