Construction Project Lead

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Construction Project Lead to oversee our projects in Rochdale. This role requires an individual with exceptional leadership skills, a strong understanding of building processes, and an ability to ensure projects meet all timelines and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all construction activities on-site.
• Develop budgets and ensure all financial metrics are met.
• Engage with clients to understand their needs and project objectives.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and sustainability practices.
• Review and approve budgets, schedules, and quality control procedures.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure equipment and materials meet standards.
• Create and manage project timelines to deliver on commitments.
• Ensure effective communication with local authorities and regulatory bodies.
• Foster positive relationships with clients and project stakeholders.
• Train and motivate teams to achieve project objectives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Building and Construction
• Master's degree is an added advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in construction management

• Construction Techniques

Certifications

• Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) Membership
• Construction Design Management (CDM) Regulations Training

Languages

• Knowledge of local building codes and standards: Understanding of the UK building regulations and compliance.
