We are seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented Textile Knitting and Weaving Machine Setters, Operators, and Tenders to join our dynamic team in Manchester. This role involves operating textile machinery, setting up machines, and ensuring the quality of our products.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate weaving and knitting machines for optimal performance.
• Ensure the efficient flow of materials through the production process.
• Maintain accurate records of production outputs.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss production goals and improvements.
• Assist with machine repairs and troubleshooting issues.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of materials and finished goods.

Requirements

Education

• No formal qualifications required
• Vocational training in textile manufacturing preferred

Experience

• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous

Technical Skills

• Familiarity with production machinery
• Quality control

Languages

• English: Fluent
