Job Description

As a Coating, Painting, and Spraying Machine Setter, Operator, and Tender, your primary responsibility will be to paint and maintain railroad cars, ensuring they meet industry standards. You will work with a variety of painting techniques and materials to provide a finish that meets both functional and aesthetic requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide support in the formulation of new paint mixtures.
• Assist in quality control checks post-painting to verify adherence to standards.
• Participate in safety meetings and training sessions to enhance workplace safety.
• Contribute ideas for improving painting processes and efficiencies.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant qualifications in painting or industrial coatings

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in painting railroad cars or similar.

Technical Skills

• Ability to operate painting equipment
• Physical stamina

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of railroad car maintenance and repair: Understanding maintenance processes in addition to painting.
