Job Description

As a Marine Environmental Analyst, you'll play a vital role in assessing and managing aquatic environments. Your responsibilities will include analysing data, conducting field studies, and collaborating with diverse stakeholders to develop strategies that address marine issues and support biodiversity.

Responsibilities

  • Research and assess the impact of climate change on marine ecosystems.
  • Coordinate conservation projects with local communities and stakeholders.
  • Utilise GIS tools for data analysis and mapping.
  • Evaluate marine resource management practices and suggest improvements.
  • Train and mentor junior staff and interns in marine environmental assessment techniques.
  • Contribute to grant writing and funding proposals for conservation projects.
  • Stay updated on current trends and research in marine environmental science.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or Marine Studies
  • Master's degree in relevant field is advantageous
Experience
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in marine environmental management or analysis
