Job Description

As a Conservation Ecologist with us, you will be pivotal in addressing environmental issues, enhancing biodiversity, and developing sustainable practices. Ideal candidates will bring a strong background in conservation science and project management.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement ecological monitoring programmes.
  • Evaluate the impact of projects on local ecosystems.
  • Foster partnerships with research institutions and universities.
  • Support the development of educational materials for community outreach.
  • Conduct workshops and training sessions for volunteers and stakeholders.
  • Provide expertise on habitat conservation techniques.
  • Advocate for conservation policies and practices at local and national levels.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or a closely related field
  • PhD in Ecology or related discipline preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in ecological research or conservation management
