We are seeking a dedicated Soil Science Technician to join our team in Wigan. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in soil assessment and analysis, along with a passion for sustainable environmental practices. Responsibilities

• Perform soil sampling, testing, and interpretation of data.
• Compile and present findings from soil analysis to project teams.
• Consult with farmers and landowners on best practices for soil management.
• Support the development of educational materials on soil health.
• Engage in research projects aimed at improving soil sustainability.
• Participate in workshops and training sessions on soil management techniques.
• Document and maintain accurate records of all analyses and findings.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Soil Science, Environmental Science or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in soil analysis or environmental consultancy
