Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Smog Technician to join our dedicated team. You will conduct emissions testing on vehicles, ensuring compliance with UK standards while providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Conduct emissions inspections per UK standards.
• Perform diagnostics to troubleshoot emissions issues and prescribe solutions.
• Maintain and service emission testing equipment.
• Ensure meticulous record-keeping of all tests conducted.
• Stay informed of evolving emissions regulations to maintain compliance.
• Guide clients on necessary repairs or modifications.
• Streamline testing processes through team collaboration.
• Maintain an orderly and safe working environment.
• Deliver high-quality customer service and education.
• Support training efforts for new technicians.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Valid Smog Technician Certification required
• Additional automotive certifications (e.g., ASE) preferred

Experience

• At least 2 years in a similar role as a Smog Technician.
