Job Description

We are looking for a highly qualified Forestry Faculty Member to be an integral part of our academic team. This role involves teaching, conducting research, and mentoring students in forestry, ensuring they develop the necessary competencies to thrive in their future careers.

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement dynamic lectures, seminars, and practical sessions on forestry subjects.
  • Oversee student projects, providing essential mentorship and research support.
  • Publish scholarly articles and attend relevant academic conferences.
  • Contribute to developing and implementing innovative forestry programmes.
  • Foster a positive learning environment through effective collaboration.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to enhance teaching skills.
  • Participate actively in departmental governance and community outreach initiatives.
  • Coordinate with faculty to improve curricular offerings and student experiences.
  • Aid in the management and operation of educational resources and research facilities.

Requirements

Education
  • Ph.D. in Forestry or a related field
  • Teaching certification or experience is preferred
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in higher education
