Job Description

We are looking for an Environmental Impact Analyst to join our team in Newton Abbot. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a passion for environmental sustainability, working on various projects that assess and mitigate the impacts of proposed developments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of EIAs including scoping and assessment phases.
  • Develop partnerships with local authorities and environmental organisations.
  • Provide training and support to junior staff on EIA processes.
  • Research environmental best practices and case studies.
  • Evaluate project proposals and their potential impacts.
  • Ensure that stakeholder feedback is incorporated into project designs.
  • Assist in the preparation of environmental statements.
  • Champion sustainability initiatives within the consultancy.
  • Engage in public consultations and feedback sessions.
  • Report on key performance indicators related to environmental outcomes.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies or related field
  • Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years in environmental analysis or consulting
