Job Description
We seek a proactive and caring Teaching Assistant to join our team in Bristol. You will support classroom activities, assist with lesson preparation, and work directly with students to enhance their learning experiences.

Job Responsibilities
  • Support classroom management and help students stay on task.
  • Assist the teacher with administrative tasks such as grading and record keeping.
  • Encourage student participation and engagement in classroom activities.
  • Provide feedback to students to help them improve their performance.
  • Help organize and implement educational games and activities.
  • Work collaboratively with other teaching staff to improve student outcomes.
Job Requirements
  • Level 2 Qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning
  • Communication Skills Ability to effectively communicate with students, staff, and parents.
  • Behaviour Management Techniques Familiarity with techniques to promote positive behaviours in students.
  • Basic IT Skills Competence in using educational software and basic office applications.
  • Empathy Ability to understand and relate to the emotional needs of students.
  • Teamwork Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Adaptability Flexibility in responding to diverse student needs and classroom situations.
Advantageous
  • First Aid Certification: A valid First Aid qualification is advantageous.
  • Experience with SEN Students: Experience working with students who have special educational needs.
