Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Production Worker to join our horticultural team. You will be responsible for maintaining optimal growth conditions for various plants in our hothouses, implementing best practices to ensure healthy development.

Responsibilities

• Administer water and nutrients to plants effectively.
• Participate in training sessions on best horticultural practices.
• Perform physical tasks including lifting and bending as required.
• Support operational activities with a focus on safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with supervisors to identify areas for improvement.
• Keep updated with horticultural trends and practices.

Requirements

Education

• Vocational training or coursework in horticulture
• Degree in agriculture or environmental science is a plus

Experience

• Previous experience working in a hothouse preferred

Technical Skills

• Pest control knowledge
• Greenhouse equipment operation

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Effective communication

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with hothouse management software: Familiarity with any technology used to manage plant environments.
• Valid driving license: Ability to travel if needed for off-site operations.
