Job Description

Aerospace Engineering and Operations Technologists will be instrumental in conducting research, analysis, and testing within the aerospace industry. The role involves working on innovative projects that push the boundaries of technology, requiring both technical expertise and a passion for problem-solving.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and interpret research findings to identify potential improvements or innovations.
  • Collaborate with engineers to optimise mechanical designs for aerospace applications.
  • Perform mechanical testing and analysis to evaluate performance and durability.
  • Carry out diagnostic procedures and troubleshooting on test equipment.
  • Collect and analyze data using relevant tools and software to inform design decisions.
  • Stay informed about regulatory standards and best practices in aerospace research.
  • Participate in project management activities, contributing to timelines and deliverables.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Master's degree or PhD in Mechanical Engineering preferred
Experience
  • Experience in conducting experiments and analysing data
Technical Skills
  • Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
  • Experience with project management methodologies
Languages
  • English: Fluent
