Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Wetlands Conservation Laborer to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will assist in various activities aimed at preserving wetland environments, engaging in hands-on conservation efforts, and contributing to community orientated projects.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in implementing wetland restoration projects following established protocols.
  • Carry out labor-intensive tasks like digging, planting, and installing erosion control measures.
  • Engage in community outreach initiatives to promote wetland awareness.
  • Support ecological monitoring activities including data collection.
  • Collaborate with team members on various conservation initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of activities and findings.
  • Provide assistance during environmental audits and assessments.
  • Adapt to changing outdoor conditions while performing duties.
  • Foster relationships with local communities to encourage wetland conservation.

Requirements

Education
  • Relevant qualification in environmental science or conservation is preferred
Experience
  • Prior experience in wetland conservation or related field is advantageous.
