Looking for a Mechanical Engineer who will thrive in a fast-paced environment in Stoke-on-Trent. This position involves working on various engineering projects, utilizing your skills in design and analysis while contributing to innovative solutions and enhancing production efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed mechanical designs and specifications.
• Work closely with production teams to ensure manufacturability.
• Conduct regular site visits to oversee project implementation.
• Provide technical support during the production phase.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist in developing project scopes and budgets.
• Engage in research and development for new technologies.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for sourcing materials.
• Educate and mentor junior engineers.
• Maintain safety and quality standards throughout the engineering process.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering expected
• Master's degree preferred in a related field

Experience

• 4-6 years of experience in mechanical design

• SolidWorks

Certifications

• Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)

Languages
