Customs Broker

Job Description

As a Customs Broker, you will be pivotal in facilitating the smooth movement of goods through customs. You will ensure compliance with all import/export regulations, manage documentation, and act as a liaison between stakeholders and customs authorities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire customs clearance process for international shipments.
• Enhance client relationships by providing exceptional service and support.
• Represent the company in discussions with customs agents and authorities.
• Stay informed on changes to import/export regulations impacting the company.
• Assist in developing training materials and sessions related to customs compliance.
• Manage any appeals or inquiries from customs authorities as needed.
• Provide expert advice on tariff classifications and trade agreements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Customs Management or similar
• Additional language proficiency can be advantageous

Experience

• Experience with EU and non-EU customs regulations preferred

• Trade management systems

Languages

• English: Fluent
