Job Description

As a Power Plant Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of turbine room equipment and systems. Your focus will be on monitoring equipment performance and implementing preventive maintenance tasks to ensure a smooth operation.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate operational data and make adjustments to improve efficiency.
• Assist in the development of maintenance schedules for all equipment.
• Engage in continuous improvement activities to enhance plant operations.
• Collaborate with engineering departments to implement upgrades.
• Ensure the availability of necessary tools and materials for maintenance tasks.
• Participate in quality assurance audits relevant to plant operations.
• Monitor and manage waste and emissions associated with plant operations.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant technical diploma or certification
• Higher education in a related field is a plus

Experience

• Experience in turbine operations and maintenance is an advantage.

Technical Skills

• Troubleshooting skills
• Basic computer literacy

Certifications

• OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent
