Prepress Technician and Worker

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Prepress Technician to manage the creation and preparation of artwork for steel dies. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to operate printing equipment effectively.

Responsibilities

• Prepare artwork and digital files for printing.
• Set up and operate flexographic and letterpress machines.
• Perform regular maintenance checks on printing equipment.
• Oversee the quality control of all printed materials.
• Work with design teams to ensure specifications are met.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Support the team in strategic planning for printing projects.
• Adapt to new printing technologies as they emerge.

Requirements

Education

• A-levels or equivalent qualifications in Art and Design
• Training in printing processes is preferred.

Experience

• Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Adobe Photoshop

Languages

• English: Fluent
