Job Description

We are in search of a qualified Chemical Engineer to join our Leeds team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and optimisation of chemical processes to improve production efficiency and product quality.

Responsibilities

  • Lead projects focused on enhancing chemical manufacturing efficiency.
  • Analyse and troubleshoot production issues to minimise downtime.
  • Develop and execute project plans while adhering to timelines and budgets.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for project support and materials.
  • Champion sustainability initiatives within the engineering team.
  • Ensure all laboratory work is done following protocols and best practices.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to less experienced engineers.
  • Evaluate new technologies for potential integration into existing processes.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
  • Postgraduate qualifications are a plus

  • 4+ years in chemical processing or manufacturing environments
