Job Description

We are seeking a Wildlife Ecology Consultant based in Basingstoke to lead ecological assessments and contribute to biodiversity projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in wildlife management, conservation strategies, and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Assess the ecological implications of proposed developments.
  • Advise on habitat restoration and management practices.
  • Conduct training sessions on wildlife conservation for staff.
  • Contribute to community outreach programmes aimed at raising environmental awareness.
  • Work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic conservation strategies.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, or related field
  • Postgraduate qualification in Wildlife Conservation is an advantage
Experience
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in ecological consultancy or wildlife management
