Job Description

As a Laboratory Operations Manager, you will oversee daily laboratory operations, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures while leading a dedicated team of scientists and technicians. The role involves managing workflow, optimizing laboratory processes, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

  • Direct daily laboratory operations and monitoring of ongoing projects.
  • Ensure laboratory adheres to relevant regulatory standards and protocols.
  • Manage the laboratory budget and optimize usage of resources.
  • Create a positive team environment that fosters collaboration and innovation.
  • Develop continuous improvement strategies for laboratory processes.
  • Work closely with the quality assurance team to maintain high standards.
  • Act as a liaison between laboratory and other departments within the company.
  • Ensure proper onboarding and training of new laboratory staff.
  • Stay up to date on advancements in laboratory technologies and best practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related field
  • Master's degree preferred
Experience
  • 7+ years of experience in a laboratory setting with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
