Job Description

As a Marine Research Assistant at our Haverhill office, you'll play a vital role in conducting research that aids in the preservation and understanding of marine ecosystems. This position involves fieldwork, data collection, and analysis, contributing to significant environmental projects.

Responsibilities

  • Implement field sampling protocols and assist with data collection.
  • Assist in laboratory experiments and analyses related to marine studies.
  • Help prepare technical documents and public reports.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss project progress and findings.
  • Support outreach activities to promote marine conservation efforts.
  • Assist in training and mentoring interns and volunteers.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Marine Biology, or related field
  • Master's degree in Marine Science or related field is preferred
Experience
  • 1-3 years of hands-on marine research experience
