We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team in Manchester. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, analysing, and overseeing a wide range of construction projects. You must have a strong understanding of engineering principles and a knack for innovative problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed structural modelling and simulations to assess safety and performance.
• Engage in peer reviews to maintain quality and accuracy in design work.
• Implement sustainable practices in engineering design.
• Oversee the construction process to ensure design integrity.
• Assist in the preparation of project proposals and bids.
• Maintain accurate records of design revision history.
• Support project management activities to ensure timely delivery.
• Foster strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or a related field
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in structural design and project management

Technical Skills

• Revit
• Civil 3D

Soft Skills

• Team Leadership
• Time Management

Certifications

• Associate Constructor (AC)
• Certified Construction Manager (CCM)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Eurocodes: Knowledgeable in European structural design codes and practices.
• Familiarity with risk assessment techniques: Experience in conducting risk assessments on construction projects.
