Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Slipper Designer to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and be passionate about designing comfortable, stylish slippers that resonate with our customers. Your role will involve collaborating closely with production, marketing, and sales teams to ensure our products meet customer expectations and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed design specifications and technical drawings for slipper production.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss design ideas and project timelines.
• Test prototypes for comfort and durability before mass production.
• Evaluate competitor products and suggest improvements to our line of slippers.
• Engage with suppliers and manufacturers to source materials and manage the supply chain.
• Provide training and guidance to junior design staff or interns.
• Keep up to date with design software and tools to enhance the design process.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Fashion Design or related field is preferred
• Previous experience in footwear design or manufacturing is a strong advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of relevant experience in design and manufacturing of footwear products

Technical Skills

• 3D Modelling Software

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Background in textile engineering: Experience or knowledge in textile engineering as it relates to footwear.
