Job Description

The Machinist Helper will assist in the manufacturing process by performing various tasks related to machine operation, such as material handling, tool setup, and quality control. The ideal candidate for this role will be detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Aid operators in managing CNC machinery and tools.
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment.
  • Assist in the inspection of components before and after processing.
  • Carry out regular maintenance on equipment as directed.
  • Help implement lean manufacturing practices.
  • Contribute to team discussions on process improvements.
  • Maintain an effective inventory of spare parts and tools.
  • Participate in training and development sessions.
  • Fulfill other duties as directed by the supervisor.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Technical training in manufacturing or engineering preferred
Experience
  • No previous experience required, but experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable.
